We created this Application Note after having designed a dedicated and very optimized Large FIR Filter IP for a customer. We ran into issues and it took us some effort to properly use the Lattice tools and converge on an efficient methodology to take advantage of the sysDSP blocks that are available in most Lattice FPGAs.
